Bio

I am a senior intellectual property and technology law adviser and litigator, based in the UK, with over 25 years' experience. I advise on a wide range of IP law, contentious and non-contentious, including patent litigation, copyright, trade marks, designs, trade secrets, as well as data protection. My work includes coordination of international advice and recommending/implementing international offensive and defensive IP strategies.  I also advise on IP agreements.  As well as general IP advice and litigation, I have advised on: standards, essential patents and FRAND licensing; negotiation with non-practising patent proprietors; EU border detention; and IP in the employment relationship. I chair the Substantive Law Committee of ITechLaw Association and have served as one of its board members.
